Looking like Generation X in their formative years, the Relatives are a young bunch of new wave punk-rock wannabes that are following in the success of the Lost Prophets and Sum 41.

Liverpool label, Spank, signed these darlings last year and this single sees their second release in the form of Triplex Sun. It's a two track disc with a video on for those folks into interactive CD-Roms. The lyrics are nothing to write home about but the music and vocal hooks are very catchy and again hark band to a modern equivalent of Billy Idol's Gen X.

Decent single and I can imagine that they'll make for a good live performance, I look forward to the album.
